This project for a private client includes custom furniture design for a bar area for the penthouse floor, an accent wall for the entrance way, a desk for the office, and surface treatments and furniture for the dining area. The bar was made from cherry wood for the base, a stainless steel frame, and a glass bar top. Behind the bar, we created stainless steel and glass shelving. The floor-to-ceiling accent wall of the foyer was made of custom copper work with a brushed patina and hammered finish. The dining area includes a slanted wall made of copper with a large mirror and buffet. We designed a buffet as a built-in made from copper and maple wood. We also custom made a maple desk for the office based on conversations with the client. Red oxide custom stain was used on the desk and also as a stain for the floors throughout the house.
